Frequently Asked Questions

We work with many of the industry’s leading pool brands and can install a wide range of pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and cleaners. If you already have a specific brand in mind — or want to match what you own now — just let us know, and we’ll recommend equipment that fits your pool and budget.

The easiest way to check is to look at your original purchase receipt and the model/serial number on the equipment, then compare that to the manufacturer’s warranty terms. If you’re unsure where to start, you can contact us with your equipment details, and we’ll help you determine whether it’s still covered.

Many manufacturers require that equipment be installed by a qualified pool professional for the warranty to apply, and they may deny coverage if it was installed incorrectly or by someone who isn’t licensed where required. Having your equipment installed by Aqua Shop helps protect your investment and keeps you in line with manufacturer requirements.

If we installed the equipment or you have gear from one of the brands we support, we can help you understand what may be covered and what the next steps are. We’ll guide you through gathering the right information and, when possible, coordinate with the manufacturer or distributor to get your claim moving.

First, shut off the power to the equipment and avoid trying to force it to run. Make a note of what you’re seeing or hearing (error codes, noises, leaks, breakers tripping, etc.), then contact Aqua Shop with your equipment brand and model. Our technicians can come out, diagnose the issue, and let you know whether a repair, replacement, or warranty evaluation makes the most sense.

That depends on the manufacturer, the product, and what’s gone wrong. Some warranties cover parts only, while others may cover parts and labor for a certain period; in some cases, the manufacturer may repair a unit, and in others, they may provide a replacement. We’ll explain what we see, how it lines up with typical warranty coverage, and what your out‑of‑pocket options look like if something isn’t covered
